Will the front of 2001 fit a 2000 protege
 

Just wanted to know if any of you guys have heard of this. It seems that they started making everything for the 2001 and up proteges. Such as body kits, CF hoods, etc. What the hell happen to the 99-00 protege did they forget about those models. So does anyone know someone that has installed the frontend of a 2001 protege on to a 2000 model? If not is this possible?

I believe the only way to get this stuff to fit is to swap the font end from a 2001 to your 99/00 ,The hood ,lights ,and fenders /

and bumper macklum...there are some great body kits though for 99-00 protege's

you would need to replace the whole front end which is costly

i have a 2000.... it possible but you have to change the hood, lights and fenders... i was looking to do it but didnt want to spend all that money... parts finally started coming avaliable here look at mine so far....

protege00dogg were in the world did you get that hood!? The only place I have seen a hood like that is for the 2001- up protege
which Wingswest makes. Can tell from your pics but is that a CF hood? Let me know were you got it at. By the way nice ride.

i have a couple questions protege00dogg
when it rains or snows or when other things fall from above, what stops it from going into your engine bay? How much of a weight difference did it make on your car (just your best guess) and did it fit perfectly the first time or did you have to do some adjustments. I'm looking to get one next month and i'd like that one, but i dont want a pile of snow in my engine bay.

PS how much including shipping?

neerajg were did you get your struts and if you have the part # can you please post it. Need the struts on are car and I haven't been able to get a part #? And do you have any pics of your ride?

the hood has grills i just didnt have them in when i took the picture... and yes it was a perfect fit right whe i put it on.... pluss shipping it was almost $900
