Why does the Pro5 steering feel loose?

I just got my strut mount position corrected and now after the repair and an alignment the tracking is prettty straight. But after a week or so the steering feels vague and loose for some reason. The feedback is gone and the on center feel is gone.

Does anyone know what this problem could be? Would is be the steering rack or the suspension components that may have been damaged?

I'm guessing that the shop reduced your caster, which will decrease steering feel and straightline tracking. Do you have your before-and-after alignment specs?

but a larger caster value will induce steering bumps.
So get the alignment done as per specs.

if its just in your head, then i would suggest getting a rear sway bar. the factory rear sway is too soft imo.

Here are the figures from the alignment sheet.

Left Front

CASTER Min-0.9 (Spec) Max-2.8 Before-1.6 After-1.6

Right Front

CASTER Min-0.9 (Spec) Max-2.8 Beofre-1.5 After-1.5

Hey, carguyw, is the Caster set a bit on the low side?
