Whistling/sceaming sound!!!
 

I was out driving on the 417 and all of a sudden, a big rig went by and I all I heard was a whistling/screaming sound. It happened again when I drove real quick or a bigger vehichle drove by me (Oncomming) Has anybody else had this problem. I don't think its engine related as much as panneling or intake or hood or........ :) Anybody!

do you have a roof rack or anything on your car? i get the usual wind noise, nothing excessively loud though.

I have heard that noise too. I thought it was the cross members of the roof rack, so I took them off. I still get that noise every so often. I think it might be the side mirros. I only hear the noise when there is a cross wind.

Maybe it's your wipers. The P5s are known to have this problem with the wiper arm getting into the air stream. Although mine is quiet

this was covered in a post a month ago. Turns out the front windshield needs to be resealed. It's a warrantee job. Generally this happens in wind gusts around 70-90 mph.
