WHat our P5 motors enternal parts?

I mean as pistons are they forged, hyperpulic, or cast? And for ROds and crank.Because I hear people running high boost or running Nos. I understand Nos, is for short burst, but how much can our stock internals handle with the high boost? Just need to know so I can determine the exact power needed for the motor, so the motor will last for a little longer, than just going crazy with NOS or boost before the motor craps out.

anybody

I guess I'll start doing some research. What does the Ford Focus motor have?

From what I've heard, the motor is fairly strong, but not as strong as a Miata's, Nissan SR20 or Honda B series (somebody can correct me if I'm wrong). Because there are not a lot of Protege tuners (yet), you may want to talk to Corky Bell at Bell Engineering. As you probably know, he is designing a turbo system for the 2.0l Pro's and he has done a lot of research on the engine, as far as it's strengths and weaknesses. Hope this helps -good luck!
