Update on the AWD Pro!

For those of you who've been followin' my progress and those who know my car, I just wanted to let you guys know that I'll no longer be goin' FI.

I have found an FS-ZL engine here so I'm gonna swap my 1.5L for the bigger 2.0L!

I don't estimate this swap being anytime soon but I'm gonna pay for the engine tomorrow so I'll have it when I'm ready to do the swap.

Amrit-
I believe [shaking head ruefully] the bigger motor won't yield near the results a turbo would for all the complexitiy/time/labor and money invested.

Please reconsider. I don't think you will be satisifed (like you would with a turbo) when a motor swap is done.

I beg to differ. The engine I'm gettin' came from a sport20, awd, manual.
My car is already awd and manual so everything is a direct bolt on for me.
Plus I've already talked to some ppl concerning this and they agree that the 2.0L is the better way to go.

Amrit-
Yours is the only opinion that counts on this one! Good luck and let us know how it turns out!

KrayzieFox February-9th-2007 09:16 AM

Why not turbo the 2.0L too while you're at it?!

Thanks for the support Da P-Funk!

And KrayzieFox, that's sounds like a really great plan, but I'm not at a financial position to do that. I was considering it though, but I have no dineros to turbo it one time. Wish I did but hey, I'll be workin' soon so who knows!
