trunk mounted bike rack question...
 

I have a bell 2 bike carrier rack that goes on the back of the trunk( like any generic rack) and it has the stuff for 2 bikes...now i ride bmx and my bike s are kinda heavy(31lbs and 40lbs) even with the lighter of the bikes on there, it seems like a lot of stress on the trunk- does anyone know if I can put both bikes on(70+lbs) on it w/o warping or bending up the trunk?

Yup it should be fine. I do that all the time w/ my 1st gen pro. I have loaded up 2 50lb. mountain bikes on my trunk mount rack. It's fine..but I didn't think the rack would've made it though. All I do is put a rug underneath the straps that lay across the trunk so it doesn't scuff the paint.
