so yeah im gonna be low on cash for awhile and i find out today that a friend of mine....the shop he works at has got a deal going with auto meter. there looking for certain cars and they want to install there gauges on these selected cars. well my P5 makes the list. the deal is.....you let them use your car for a write up on how the install went...if they had any problems....that way when they get a call from your average joe putting there stuff on they can give you an explanation on what to do to solve the prob. so for 250 bucks for the install...i can have any of the auto meter gauges i want.....i mean any.....a tach, air/feul,boost....etc, from any of there series of gauges...from what he was telling me. all the guages are provided by auto meter free. he said hes had a couple people get like 500 dollaes in free gauges all for the price of the install. so im a little unhappy right now..... so umm anybody wanna lend me some money...lol.

he's charging you $250 to install some guages?!?! He's not a REAL friend.

i dont know i guess i look at it differently. 250 for any of the gauges and i believe the mounting equipment you want. doesnt seem like a bad deal to me....now if i had to pay for all the guages themsleves yeah that would suck. but hes also gotta make money. he doesnt normally work on regular cars. he specializes in typhoons and syclones. thats there main focus. i dont know if that 250 is for one gauge. if i were to only get one guage, yeah its not worth it. but if i can have any of there top of the line guages(as many as i need or want)and the a pillar pods...id do it....my personal opinion though.
