Ticking?
 

I installed my performance exhaust cam (02 Pro Lx) with little problem but now after about 150 miles with the cam in, the motor has developed a tick. I'm a little confused as to why this may have happened, re-timing it went right as far as i can tell. I changed my oil last night(castrol Syntec Blend, which is what i always use) and after the car had a tick, fluid levels were all fine and i didnt over fill the oil. I just cant figure out how this developed after 150 miles with cam, and new timing belt, and water pump(and all the other implided goodies) were put on, but not initially.

I'm pretty sure this is not a normal incident, but has anyone else experienced ticking in the motor after having install performance cams? Should i pull the thing apart and re-time it?? I'm at a lose here and have no idea what to do about it so if anyone has any thoughts please let me know.

I dont notice any lose of power, no new smoking(i think, its been cold here so the exhaust pipe is always "smoking") and actually the thing is running smooth as can be expected with awr mounts in.

I personally have no clue, but I did find this thread . It has some good suggestions in it.
