is there any way i can beat a standard pro?
 

yeah i have an automatic transmission pro 2002 not my choice though it was a surprise gift is there any way i can beat a standard trans. pro will intake and computer chip do the trick or i simply have no chance ??? :( sux

It's gonna take more than just an intake as the auto trans on these cars seem to suck out a great deal of power. I don't know about a computer chip but if there is one that actually works maybe.

Billy, currently there isn't a chip for our cars......you could add the intake and a good exhaust system ....but most of the pro owners with standards that are modding their cars have done that too....

a good hole shot will get you there....just have to work on it I guess...but then our little cars aren't drag racers....so there ya go.

another option you have.....but its big bucks....is to go with a turbo. but i don't know how well the auto will hold up to one.

wont the exhaust sound funny on my car since its auto?? which one do you recommend i dont like those noisy ones i want a smooth sound and the intake im definetely going to buy i just dont know which either the CAI or the AEM (:(

I've heard that autos take 11% of the car's HP, don't know if this is tru or not but it seems to be true IMO.

The exhaust isn't going to sound funny and the auto tranny is fine with a turbo kit installed running moderate boost levels.
