na mods on a 1.6L are big waste of money...you'll spends LOTS of money for little in gains

You're going to blow your motor judging by the way you're talking. You need to do some searches on aftermarket turbo kits to see some of the discussion we've already had on the topic. Basically you'lre going to need to be willing to spend a lot of money.
