Silver center console...

Hi...can anyone help give me a website or tell me where i can order a replacement for the silver center console ... u know the piece that goes over our stereo with the carbon fiber accents on the side.... thank you....

DuCKieMP3 April-5th-2002 01:31 AM

I tried....they said they need me to take it apart and give them the part number...and plus they're expensive... no good... any other suggestions?

LinuxRacr April-5th-2002 01:41 AM

If you don't mind me asking, what happened to your old one? Do you just want an extra one?

proman April-5th-2002 05:35 AM

The dealer SHOULD know the part number atleast.......

ZackyFarms16 April-5th-2002 11:22 PM

yea the guy at the dealer was probably a lazy bastard. Go in there with some damn authority, you just got a car off them, push em around (not physically), but be a little commanding, when the guy says, "i dont know the part number," tell him that it must be around somewhere, ask him to check with the service dept. just keep asking questions, whats the guy gonna do? kick your ass and tell you to leave?

I dont mean to sound so harsh or intense, and for the most part I am a nice person, but from personal expirience some people dont take me as serious because i think i look young for my age (thats what people tell me i guess). Im 18, look like im 16 though. but its all good. hahaha. sorry about the life story. kinda wierd how a person can deviate from the question so much huh, and all u want to know is a part number, sorry dude.

:argue:
(anyone else notice all the crazy faces we have available on this board??)

I've got the part#

I also had to order another trim piece due to a booty ass stereo shop! Here it is--BL4C 55211-- or -- P 20 BN5V-- Both the numbers are on the back of the piece!!! :D

ry_clark April-6th-2002 03:06 PM

Well, if that isn't the full # than it is not on the back of the trim piece. ANYWAY, I was just trying to be helpful.

Tou do not have to pay $170 for the fake carbon fiber when the basic one is $76:D .Unless you like the fake stuff enough to pay an extra $100 yeah right:rolleyes:

go over to the showroom car and get in and while no one is lookin' pop that baby off and into your jacket. then get the hell outta there and dont look back
Too bad it takes like 20 minutes - and disconnecting the HVAC controls and cables - to "pop that baby off". Don't I wish it was that easy!

Your dealer sounds really lazy and un-helpful. It's a simple part lookup - and not a compicated thing. Tell them to get off their asses and get the damn thing for you.

BTW - not a bad idea to go with the "basic" one and just paint it - BIG price difference.

jcilforever April-7th-2002 10:08 PM

The basic one comes in different colors, not sure how many(bronze, black, silver, etc.)
