Replacing the Tires on my '02 P5

I hope this is in the right section. I didn't see a subsection for tires for the P5.

I'm looking for all-season tires that are particularly good in wet/snow/and some ice as we get a lot of that crap around here. Any suggestions?

I'm considering:

Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S.

Kumho Escta ASX

BF Goodrich g-Force Super Sport A/S

I currently have these: Yokohama AVID H4S

I've had moderately good success with the Kumho's here in Wisconsin. My biggest issue was early wear, but that due in part to a bad front end alignment. I got about 38K with a lot of highway miles.

What drew me to them was the inexpensive price and the good ratings on tirerack.com. They are the least expensive performance tires, and since your car is 7 model years old now, that's a good bargain.

I'm a huge fan of BFG. I've had KDWs on all my cars for years. I even talked my mom into putting a set onto her Jag. :)

I am glad you brought this up. I hate my stock tires (easy wheel hop, poor wet and snow traction) and have read on here similar comments from others. I was also considering the Kumho's. I have Kumho's on my RX-7 and they've been great, I also had a set of all season kumho's on a prelude and civic I use to own and those also did very well in both wet and dry although they were not the ASX model. If anyone has the ASX's let us know what you think? Thanks.
