Raise the ratio on the differential and get better times. From my memory the 4-speed runs higher ratios than the 6-speed, reducing the wheel spin and less shifts. You have to adjust gearing with a close ratio manual, or launch in second to get good times. Otherwise you will just spin the hell out of the tires.

BTW.... Mustangs and Camaros are generally both POS's. But they are faster than frick in a straight line.

Powerglide is a good transmission. But I've never seen someone throw it in a late model.
