protege is pissing me off.
 

seriously. every time i even touch it the engine light goes on. my friend gave me a pipe to put on my car, so i dont have to use the stock MAF back black plastic. well, it would fit, but my hood wouldnt close all the way. so i took it off and put it back on the EXACT way it was before. now i get a CEL light. i took it down to my friendly neighborhood autozone to get it check out. apparently, its not a vaccuum leak (well gee, dont mind the erratic idle....:tooth:) but my EGR valve or an O2 censor. now tell me, wouldnt that have gone off BEFORE i took off my filter?

just reset the ecu and forget about it.....our ecu's suck horribly. I've had several random CEL's and I reset the ecu and they never come back.
