Protege 5 Rear Hatch Door Ajar
 

I just replaced my rear hatch.
After disassembling the original hatch the door ajar light came on and now with the new hatch connected it still shows it being ajar. All the systems work in the hatch except the door switch.
Does anyone know what triggers the door switch in the hatch so I can start troubleshooting a short?
