problem with ignition
 

i recently lost my only set of keys to my car. normally not a huge deal except for the fact that ive had my ignition replaced by the car dealer i bought it from because there was a problem with the first one. so i have a different ignition in the car. so i couldnt just get a new set of keys made from mazda because the vehicle numbers are different. i was finally able to get a new key switch, have the old one drilled off the ignition then attach the new key switch. i get it into my car but all of the functions are scrambled on it. car wont turn off until its in lock, the acc. thinks its the on and it keeps changing every time i use it. ive taken it all apart and tried re-attaching it but still no success. i havent driven the car yet cuz i dont know what may happen. any suggestions?
