Price on 02 ES w/ sport auto
 

If anyone has purchased an 02 ES 4dr with the sport auto I'd like to know what you paid. I'm selling my 5 speed and buying a sport auto due to knee problems (can't do the clutch much longer). I paid $16,666 in January for my 5 speed with Premium Package, perimeter alarm, cargo net and wheel locks.

I just got an 02 ES 5sp with premium package, wheel locks, 6 cd changer, perimeter alarm, mud guards, and a block heater. It was 15,700. The sport auto is a 900 dollar option so if I would have gotten it the price would have been around 16,600 before tax and title.

Dealer is searching for a silver protege ES for me...mid cycle...auto with overdrive premium package..it was $18,772 after everything...but I'm gonna get 500 less for the college rebate...I took 0% interest rate. Did I get a decent deal?

Northern California. All the Mazda dealers here are extremely competitive. It is not unusual to still find 50-60 Pros in stock at the larger dealers.
