Please help.....

Hi all... I am from Toronto...
My protege' 5 have some scatches on it, is there anyway to cover or eliminate the scatches? Is there any tools that I can buy in Canadian tire instead of repaint my car?
Please help... Thanks...
If you need more info, I will tell whatever you need...

how deep are the scractches?

once the dealer got my front bumber scratched and i was so pissed off. after some complaining they buffed the scratches off, its not even noticable now. they also said they would repaint it! but they haven't called me for the paint job yet...

hi 130hp....
it is not that deep... but my car is metallic blue... and the scratches are kind of white... so.......
And I really want to find a cheaper way to cover the scratches... any suggestion?

why dont you just go to the dealership and get a small bottle of touch up paint from them?

Uhhh no, cause I believe you will only make it worse by globbing on touch up paint. If the scratches aren't very deep, just get a good wax and buff it out. I use Mequiar's Gold on my car. There are all kinds of buffing compounds you can get, like I said it just depends on how deep the scratches are, give it a try you an't hurt anything waxing/buffing your car.

hi Sweedenhouse and vibrantvivid... ths for your help...
but where can I buy them? Can I buy it in Canadian tires? (cuz i am not familier with these kind of stuff...)
And after I bought them.. what should I do?? (Use towel?)

Many thanks....

Canadian Tire sells lots of different waxes, Meguiar's included.

The instructions will be printed on the label...it's not too hard, but very time consuming if you plan on waxing your whole car the right way...

If buffing it out with wax doesn't work, you can try a spot polish by a body shop...

hi Deceptipro....
Hmm.... so should I go to have a big/super body wash (w/ wax) first?

many thanks...

i live in the states and dont know what the hell a candian tire is! if its like a car parts store i m sure youll be able to find it there. dont get gs27 i was only kidding on that. my mom bought some for here car awhile back and it looks like sun tan lotion. so DONT GET IT.

Understand...
Thanks...

yeah, if you plan to wax part of your car, you might as well wash and wax the whole thing. Even if you don't get rid of the scratches, you're protecting your car from damage that weather and time can cause.

Ah... sorry I didnt mention that all the scratches are at the right hand side of the back bumper.... so do you think those methods will work?
