P5 20K mile tune up?
Hey everyone, im about to him 20K miles on my p5! woohoo! i dont know why im happy.....eitherway, whats recommended i hear a lot of conflicting things. ive obviously been changing oil religously so lets not get into the oil debate. But theres talk of spark plugs stuff like that. I plan on putting in new plugs + wires anyway so haha, lets not get into a debate about plugs & wires either. But is there anythig else i need to do? thanks all!

hmm well im gonna change em anyway to sparco ones, just somethin i wanted to do. But yea as for the manual, i knew i was gonna get that answer from someone...
thanks for the input |

Originally posted by TheMAN As part of the tuneup, clean or replace the air filter. In fact, I just did a mileage test before and after a filter replacement. Depending on conditions, I'd recommend changing the air filter more often than 20,000 miles - 10,000 would be good, IMHO. I listed my test results in this thread ~HH |
hmm, nice, about replacing the air filter, i did, i bought a intake off ebay, its actually pretty decent, just normal intake parts/tubing that you can get at any performance shop. Install was easy and the sound is nice. Accelleration feels kinda wierd though, its not necessarily a good thing and getting one of the rubber hoses to clamp securly onto the throttle body was kinda a pain. But its cool i guess and looks pretty clean.

Do whatever you want with your car!!! :) All anybody asks is that you be honest with your results and post any good or bad experiences. I AM CANADIAN!!! (I also watch STREET CENTS) and I know that more expensive does not mean better product! :) So buy the wires you want for your car and post any negative or positive results! gggday !
