Noise coming out from the right passenger front tire area... please help!
 

If there is anyone out there that can help me.... I have a 2003 Mazda Protege5 and it is making a slight metal clicking noise coming from the right front tire area. (It sounds like a coin or a small peace of metal that is rolling around somewhere). I have tried to look everywhere and can't seem to find out where it is coming from. I will try to get a video of it. Any suggestions?? Thanks!

If it is the same sound I was hearing it might be your water pump bearing. I had to replace my water pump just last week. Bitch of a job but lets hope it stays fixed. So here is what you might wanna do to check the pump. See if you can wiggle the center pully, the one that is connected to the alternator. You won't be able to see the pump, but its behind that pully. Let me know what you find

could be the CV joint starting to go. see if the boots are in one piece or if they are leaking / lost their grease.

does it make the sound when driving, turning, accelerating, braking, etc...?
