My Drivetrain is loopy
 

Ok, I got my protege about 8 months ago is a 2000 and it had 39k on the odometer, now after about a month everyonce and a while if I hit the gas to hard, by the way my model is 2.6l AT Lx, the transmission wouldn't get into gear and the car would rev for a second or so until I let of the accelerator or until the wheels started to scream. Then i didn't drive in for about two weeks, that was about three weeks ago, and when first drove it again even if I asked for a little zoom zoom, in drive it would do the same thing, I have a 4 year 84k mile warranty and, if my tranny is going with it cover it, or do any of you know whats wrong with it
