MUST find HORSEPOWER

So, tell me the facts. I have a 1999 Protege 1.8 DOHC 5-speed and I want a header. Who makes one, how much? Are there any other specifications I need to know? Will a 2.0 header work? What about the old 1.8 Escort GT headers?

Thanks

I believe the 2.0L header from OBX will fit. I'm not 100% sure but I believe they're very close.

A header is not HUGE power but it is good when matched with a full exhaust.

exhaust ports are the same..yes a 2.0L header will work

It would be nice to have some type of cat back exhaust in addition to the header. I've got a fairly small budget, so it's not like I could turbocharge it or anything. I already have a CAI (man you guy's weren't kidding, ebay CAI are pretty much a well kept trade secret!), so I thought it would be good to keep the engine "smooth breathing"...ie the header. However, I don't want the car to sound like it's some 5.0 L mustang or a 16 wheeler. Basically, I want a sleeper protege. Sounds cool huh?

Don't worry...it won't sound like a 5.0!!
