Mileage?

How can I improve the mileage form my ES?

That's a pretty generic question... what problems are you experiencing?? Keep in mind, these cars are designed to run at a pretty high RPM so the mileage isn't great.

your best first investment is a free flowing air filter; K&N, AEM, Injen. Short-ram or CAI as long as you let the engine breathe more you should get better mpg. Dont expect any miricles though-for a car that already gets around 28+mpg its hard to coax more out of it.

Adding a better exhaust system will help too as you are releaving some back pressure.

Moral of the story; do a search on Intakes and exhaust systems.

The best way to get good gas milage is to keep your foot out of it. Make sure your tires are at the right PSI, and avoid stop and go driving if you can. The more you're moving, the better mileage you get.

I second what nramsey says. Mainly, keep your foot out of it.

HAHAHA!

you could also shift at lower rpm when driving normally. also don't keep uneccessary junk in your car which will just add weight.

yeah fat chicks kill the gas mileage.

no bags, no switches, no fat bitches

hahahahhahhaha

oh and, umm P5 DO OR DIE, how do you plan on having an Injen CAI *AND* a Turbo?

sorry for bastardizing this post, btw

I'd say, ignition system, intake, exhuast, and what not, that should increase gas milage.

Lose some unnecessary weight, get smaller tires (so your speedometer reads faster; it will give you the sensation that you're going faster :) ) drive with the windows up and the a/c off, and shift at around 3k.

cruise control when you are on the highway... from what I have found best mileage is when I keep it at ~65MPH (I have not tried any slower), but locked in at ~75MPH I am getting ~29MPG.
