keyless entry not working!?

My keyless entry isnt working... i have replced the battery, and reprogrammed it like 4 times to no avail. any suggestions?`

i would need a NGS tester to see if the CSM is getting the KEC. basically, that means i use a scantool to see if the module controlling the keyless entry is seeing the code.

off the top of my head, i would say that your FOB took a shit. do you have a spare? if so, reprogram that FOB and see if it works.

nah dont have a spare... they have some on ebay... god this has been the worse week ever. haha

My fob wouldn't work one day. I found the rear hatch ajar. After reclosing the hatch, the fob worked fine. Good luck.

or if its like mine it could just be worn out. my first fob wore out and the second one got stolen. try taking off the cover and pushing the little buttons manually and see if it works. at least thats my dimb idea

AND (from experience;) ) there is a separate fuse for the memory for the trip odometer, radio clock, AND KEYLESS ENTRY. The small panel by the drivers side kick panel. There are two 10A fuses next to each other (IIRC) it is the one on the left....

I've taken the fob apart, replaced battery, blah. I finally just decided to take it back to the shop.

Da P-Funk! September-9th-2004 06:12 AM

Didja' check the rear hatch or the fuse in the panel? [Hello! Is thing on? :)]

p0wn September-9th-2004 04:45 PM

yea, its the fuse, i'm going to radio shack to get a new one.. blah.

p0wn September-10th-2004 05:45 PM

I replaced the 'radio' 15a fuse with a new one, and still no luck. That fuse didnt seem to be blown anyhow. Which fuse is the right one?
on another note is anyone having trouble accessing this site?

p0wn September-12th-2004 12:14 PM
