It's finally here! WOOHOOO!!!!

After a month and a half of waiting, my Allegro Hatchback has finally arrived! I know you're probably going: "allegro, wtf?" well, it's the same as the P5 except it doesn't have the body kit and the engine is 1.6l. The interior is a litle different as well.
I got it in Dark Blue Mica, it looks so sweet:D . It's allso my first 5speed....well, it's actually my first brand new car too :blue: , I didn't take fort a spin today cuz it's been a while since I last drove a manual tranny and I don't want to mess it up, but tomorow I'm having someone take me out to re-learn how to drive the 5speed :shift: .

Well as you can see, I'm giddy as a school girl :wee: ...Ill post again tomorow to tell you how it went.

My first new car as well, but not my first manual 'box.

The clutch and gearchange in this car is ridiculously easy as comapred to my last car (94 Trans Am). Makes me laugh every time I grab a gear.

damn, that's one more to the list, and im still P5-less....

Thank you all for the replies.

Pr5owner-the outside is almost identical except it has the new grill and the new headlights. The interior however is much nicer, it combines black and light grey tones, the steering wheel looks a lot better than the one shown in those pics, it's got the 2002 P5 shift knob and the HU is blaupunkt, it's a low end model but it's still nice for a stock HU (It'll be replaced soon anyway).

Even though it has the 1.6l (the 2.0l wasn't available) I think it's a great car and an amaizing value considering it costed around 12k$ US, they also gave me set of floor mats, keyless entry/alarm system, tint, anti theft device that locks the stick and a bunch of mazda stuff, hat, polo shirt, 12CD case/holder and a fanny pack(I think that's what it's called in english).

Ill post pics in the next couple of weeks.

congrats dude, i know a few giddy school girls... whoa where did that come from?

I'm oficially a stick....driver that is :bigthumb:, the guy that was suposed to come and teach me couldn't make it, so I said to myself, what the heck, and went at it myself.
The hardest part was getting out of the parking lot, after that it was a piece of cake, it took me less than 30min to start making the shifts without thinking about it. Let me tell you one thing, it beats the crap out of driving an auto, I'm still a litle rough and I'm shure the car will shut down on me a couple of times but it's all part of the learning process I guess.

For the first time in my life I'm actually able to do burnouts :bounce:!
