intake manifold compatibility (VTCS) with MP5

I know I can use Ford Probe or MX-6 Intake Manifold to Eliminate VTCS.

But wich year of PROBE are compatible with my P5 engine?
is it the 1993 to 1997 with the 2.2 liter engine?
(And I guess it's the same thing with the MX6...)

And...Does the mazda 626 manifold will fit?

Thanks for the help! ;)

I was wondering the same thing too. But for my DX sedan? I saw somewhere that its pretty much a gutted out version of the MP3 manifold. Its supposed to yield more power than MP3 mani and is more reliable. If its possible to swap that IM into the ZM-DE then maybe that would be easier (and cheaper) than getting it ported/polished.

Anyone know?

Is the $/BHP ratio 'right' on this one?

It seems like a lot of work/$ for a relatively small gain. I think you would see more from cams or UD puley than this....

eh.

your 1.6 is a totally different engine than the 2.0L, it wont fit

the 93-97 Prob and MX-6 has a similar 2.0L to the FS-DE and it will fit...What kind of gain you get is yet to be seen....removing VTCS is good, but removing VICS is not for N/A, but maybe for FI...keep that in mind
