I've received very good and timely service from the power_garage ebay store:
Example: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2478639039 Just look for a more recent listing. It was fairly easy to install on my 2000 ES, but I must say Injen includes minimal diameter clamps on their kits. You may wish to stop by at Kragen or a hardware store and get slightly larger diameter clamps. The one that clamps the intake on the throttle body was particularly difficult to tighten. The intake itself sounds great and added +7 to 8 HP. I haven't had the car dyno'd, but this is an estimate using the Passport GT2 accelerometer. I've also done business with SR Motorsports. And be sure to check out Protege Garage: http://www.protegegarage.com http://www.srmotorsports.com/protege.htm. FYI: You can also buy the Injen kit at http://www.optionimports.com, but avoid them like the plague. They lied about the part being in-stock, shipped it too late for the track event, and refused to refund the full amount. After several discussions with them, they get a negative 10 for service. |
