Installing Components in the Front

Well, i'm upgrading my sound system again but this time i'm trying to do it all by myself. I've just bought a pair of Adioubahn 6.5" compents for the front of my 2000 Protege. I have 6.5" clarion coaxils in there right now but hte shop installed htose. DOes any one knonw how to remove hte door panels so I can put in the new speakers and what owuld be a good spot to mount the tweeters? Thanks. Also I was wanting to move the Clarions to the back doors since there are speaker holes back there but i'm not sure if there are any speakers in it. Would it be really hard to put hte 6.5" CLarions in the back speakers?
Thnaks again.

The 03's had optional tweeters in the "garnish", the triangle shaped piece of trim at the front of your side windows, inside of where your outside mirrors are (it just pops off). Unless you have a DX with manual mirrors I'd think you could do them in that spot too. Maybe there's a "How To" on door panels in here. I did my own, they are fairly standard stuff.

Check the how-to for shortening your locks, it's got a good write-up for removing the panels. As for tweeter placement. They're audiobahns, so just put them somewhere they look nice. Personlly the best comproise IMHO is to surface-angle-mount the tweeters in your kickpael area.

You could put the speakers in your rear doors, but you'd likely need to pull speakerwire, as well as cutout your "splash gards" to allow a 6.5 to fit... If you do this, yank your rear deck speakrs.
