I took my car in for minor warranty repairs

I took my car to the dealer for some warranty repairs. Kinda sucks since I'm only at 1480 miles. Well, the alignment and a rattle coming from the front right door panel had to be fixed. My car stayed there for 2 days and I had a yucky Ford Escort as a loaner (well it was pretty peppy, but ugly).

The alignment was easy for them to adjust. However my dealer found that the glass was chattering against something, due to the window regulator tilting the glass. So they had to order a new window regulator part, which why they kept my car for an extra day.

Well I picked my car up today, but the rattle/chatter is still there! I guess ill have to call my service writer again tomorrow.

Just thought some of you may want to know this, since couple of you are experiencing rattles from the front right passenger door

Yeah I have irritating rattles like that too. From the same general area it sounds like too. But the stupid dealer probably won't warranty mine cause I've taken the doors off to put in my MB Quart componnets, and I've had the windows tinted. They'll probably blame the rattle on those things. So I'm just gonna go in when I get my sound dampening material and try to see if I can fix it myself.

I have the same rattle and am in the same position. I took the door apart to install speakers.

Check it it's coming from the pasenger shoulder belt adjuster assembly. I had a rattle there on my P5... the noise would be gone if there were a passenger, using the seatbelt.

I took it in yesterday so they can have another look. I road tested my car with a technician so I can make sure I let them know what exactly is wrong. The technician said the sound is coming from the B-pillar panel, which is where the seat belt is. So yah, check your seatbelt assembly too like frankd said.

Then early this morning they called and they said they ordered a part. So I have to go back next week. I forgot what part it is because I answered the phone half asleep. :/

I got a Ford Focus for the car rental. Im gonna ask for a Dodge Neon next week heehee

I want to change my speakers too and maybe add tint. but I want Mazda to fix the rattle first. So they won't blame it on the speaker/tint install.

Ugghh dude, I dunno about that. IF you really take pride in your cars, like I try to, I never, ever let some other jabroni wash my ride. Maybe that's just me though, but I ain't lettin anyone else get there grubby paws on my ride, with their who knows what kinda soap they use, and if their mit they are using is scratching your paint.
