I read somewhere about..
making the touch-up paint more even rather than having a blob by applying some kind of liquid on a cloth, then whipe in on the touch-up paint area (the liquid will melt the paint), then use a square looking thing to cover it to make the touch-up paint even.
I can't remember what the item is called..Perhaps someone here can help me out?' Thanks! |

Thanks! from an old post by Hihoslva here is a link to some good touch up application info: http://www.carcareonline.com/paint_chips.html for some more on the subject, the results of a search on "touch up paint smooth" can be found at: http://www.protegeclub.com/forum/sea...der=descending |
Hmm, seems like people are using the touch-up paint for chips and crack. However, I'm using it for the surface scratch I had. Does it still work with toothpick?
Thanks |
It's a repair kit from Mothers. It comes with a bottle of some sh*t,a plastic card, and instructions. Havn't used it yet,but might consider. Saw this product in the latest Superstreet
