HEy guys newbie here Protege5
 

Me and my wife purchased a 2002 Protege5, since my other car burned up. I just wanted to know what kind of upgrades are available. Such as cold intake,NoS,Turbo,airfilters and so on. I came from a V6power mustang club, where my 95 Mustang was pretty modded. BUt I am new to the compact section,just don't know whats out there as aftermarket. But I love the way the car drives, but need some extra HP.

Congratulations on your purchase! I'm sure you'll be very happy with it! As rider said, you're best to use the search button extensively as (looks around for Protege Menace and TheMAN) some people are search Nazis :D Seriously, just spend some time reading the different forums on the board and you'll get a pretty good idea that there are plenty of options for our cars. Not as many as say, a 'stang or a civic but I would say that our rides simply require more ingenuity! ;)

now now, no need to name names. :p welcome to the board crazy5, you'll love the car. like they said though, check out the engine/drivetrain, suspension, and forced induction sections.. you'll find tons of aftermarket is there for the 2.0l's, and it's all been discussed tons. again, welcome.. you'll love your p5. :)
