HELP with Short Ram Intake
 

Hey guys, I purchased a short ram intake for a 98 Protege (1.5L) and this is my first time with these things, but I have some problems installing it:

1- The alum pipe ( the polished part) came with 2 hose opening and I have only one for the engine breather hose(tiny small hose). and when I e-mailed the guy he told me that there is another one below the throttle boby and it connects to the nipple near it on the piping!! WHICH I NEVER FOUND ??!!!

2- I think I have to extend the wiring for the MAF sensor, is that ok?I mean If I mad cutting to its wiring to add more length to it, this won't hurt its function as long as I wire it back the right way??!!
