Help with Modification ideas

Hi there, I am kind of bored with my protege
Its a 2002 ES-GT Protege, I have tinted the windows and put some altezza's on.

But I wanna do something else to spice it up, get more looks, does anyone have any ideas of what I could do to my ride?

Thanx

-Mike

what you should do

get a strut tower brace
lower it
put 17's on it
get an intake
get an exhaust

you won't be bored anymore

Hey

How'd you hear about protegeclub? Be sure to check out the West Canada section for our Calgary Protege Club and meet the rest of us. Which part of Calgary do you live in?

I'm in the same situation as you, and everything jbennett has mentioned above will run you about $2500 CDN minimum. If you have that kind of money lying around to blow, then have fun... otherwise, you'll be bored with your car. Modify it slowly, a little at a time, like I'm doing. Here are some cheaper mods you can do that will make your car just a tad bit more fun:
- Paint your calipers
- Kartboy shifter bushings
- Short shifter (B&M or Kartboy or TWM)
- White headlight/fog bulbs
- K&N drop-in filter (available at Canadian Tire for $50-60)

Good luck, and remember its always a lil' harder to modify your car when you live in Canada: shipping and US prices are often a bitch!

starter mods

It's easier and more fun if you just start moding, do anything, just do it. It get addictive, and over a long time you don't realise ho much you've spent.

Start with an intake. You get a little HP, but mostly it'll sound soooo much cooler. You'll enjoy it. I recoment the AEM short Ram intake, but other people are all about the Ingen. Paint the calipers and get a strut tower brace (actually makes a difference in steering responce). then later you can lower it.

hello mjpepsi and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to our Club. There are TWO BIG fridge'S in the corner with anything you can think of in them...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have.

make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

check out the INTERIOR/EXTERIOR forum as you will find a lot of appearance mods there...as that seems to be what you are looking for....but my suggestions would be maybe a body kit....something subtle...wheels/tires.....lower the suspension.....
