One with gray tubes and blue connectors and a couple metal tabs with holes in them and the clamps right?

Yeah thats the one. It looks pretty nice comparably to teh fact that it costs like 25% of what a real one costs. But i've only had the car for a few months and don't know to much car stuff.

something like this:

you'll have to figure out where to stick your bracket....

Yeah.. mine went under to a bolt on the engine which seemed to be more stable. But thanks Phantom. :)

we originally had the bracket somewhere else, but it was rubbing so we changed it.

Well I got it installed and it looks good. I even shined up the metal tubing. But what are you supposed ot do wiht the sensory that was right at the base of the original intake tube close ot teh engine opening?

Prote-J May-17th-2004 10:54 PM

you mean the vacuum line bank that was by the throttle body?

Be careful with those, they like to come lose from their fittings easy and cause engine runtime errors.

When I had my SRI , I put them under one of the clamps there and it worked fine. Either that, or take another metal piece with two holes, and mount it on one of the two bolts holding down an aluminum gold plate on the intake right there.
