Help!!!!!!!!
i'm having tranny problems. first it was clutch chatter, got the car in at 13000 miles. the dealer said that the clutch was burnt from someone riding the clutch. now it grinds when shifting between 2 and 3 over 3k rpm. they say a syncro is bad. there giving me a bunch of shit, and won't work on it till the mazda rep looks at. what can i do. by the way the dealer is DENNIS EAKIN MAZDA here in killeen tx. the service dept there is verry rude. i had to go to the service manager to even get things rolling (TOM MULLINS). i'm seriously thinking about taking it to a different dealer for warranty work from now on. hell trying to get a loaner from them is like trying to part the frigging red sea. and last time i checked that was part of the warranty. please help i'm at the end of my rope.

Even if you get pissed off, never mention names. I read once a dealer was on the forum and sued the guy for slander/defamation or something. Be careful!
|
don't see how i could be sued for telling the truth. besidesall i did was mention the dealer's name and who the service manager was. it's not like i was personaly bashing him. just stating the facts about what's happened.
|
just go to another dealer and be over with.
yep, since you are telling the truth even if they sue you, you can consider sueing them back at twice the amount for harrassment. you were probably not stepping on the clutch all the way before you moved the lever to shift. this car is very easy to accidentally ride the clutch as the throw is so long and full engagement is so shallow. to me, its hard to drive. to a newbie trying to learn MT, i guess he/she can sort of feel good that their clutch engagement is smooth...only to find out later they were just riding the clutch each time. |

mine did the same thing, but it also would kick the gear out...anyways, if you car is under the reg warranty, then a mazda rep doesn't need to look at it b/c its not your MEPP rixing it, its the factory problem
