heater died in my P5

and its god damn annoying cause winter is almost here and its cold out side. the vents are just blowing outside are when i crank the heat on full

i've checked all the fuses they are all fine, and checked the transmission fluid

has anybody got any other ideas, before i take it to the dealer to look at it.

i had a bazooka tube installed today (proffessional install) aswell, could that be causing the problem?

I'm not really sure, but if your fan works... maybe for some reason they didn't hook the plugs back up that go to the knobs on the heater control. Pop the trim thing off and take a look? I could be way off. :squint:

Shouldn't this be covered under warranty?

Take it back to the dealer. Get it fixed properly.

guess what it started working again

i was driving to work on the highway (doing about 130km/h) and the heat kicked in

so i'm guessing that my water pump stoped working or there is a thermal stat problem, going to hold off on calling the dealer for now since it seems to be working again

if i were you i will still take it to the dealer anyways. if it is the water pump might lead to problems. when you had no heat did the temp guage go into the red zone. also it might be your heater core pluged up.

i think the p5 controls are vacuum. and that was your problem. the door was not open to let the air pass threw the heater core. you could have a vacuum leak or something else. shouldnt be anything with the water pump. or you would have notice other things. but i think your problem was inside your car. if its working keep working the switch every now and then to make sure every works. just to make sure nothing is wrong. that way if it does go out you can have the dealership replace it. :bt:
