head light adjustment

i switched out my bulbs cause one went out, and i noticed(b/c these put out WAY more light) that my passenger side light shines a bit higher than the drivers. like it looks like a straight line starting from left and than curves up into a circle on the right. I didnt think there was a way to adjust the lights on a sedan, so why is this like this? or am i a fool and there IS a way to adjust them? or is the end of correct light placement AS WE KNOW IT???
or am i a little over dramatic?

There IS a way to adjust them. Open the hood, and look at the plastic part of the headlight. There should be two plastic screws (one on the inside side of the headlight, and another on the top) on each headlight. Those two screws control the pitch and direction. Use them to adjust the beam.

Later,

The passenger side headlight usually aims a little higher than the driver side. This keeps the headlights from blinding oncoming traffics (left/driver side) while giving better illumination on the road signs on the right /passenger side.

I notice you have a sedan. The sedans have euro spec ligthing, which includes a 15 degree tilt upward on the passenger side. Most likely your adjustment is OK. Serch for thread on lighting and beam patterns where theMAN has participated to get more info. Also check out the Protege FAQ. Here is a link to the lughting website:

Hope this helps :o)
