Hard Acceleration= wet back window/P5
This really gets on my nerves, my car is always clean. And it seems like everytime I get on the gas, the damn water in the lines to the rear window squirter dirty's up the back window!!!
Anyone else have this problem? I almost feel like disconnecting it! |
Because your 'hard accelerating', that will change the slope of the car; the car's front up lifts up. Water flows down hill. If you put 2 and 2 together you get what you have. We'all have it. It's normal. That can't be the question?!?
I know why it does it, I guess what I meant is that it just sucks!
I wasn't asking why it does it. |
Is the water coming from the washer fluid nozzles or just under the spoiler? I get alot of water flowing down the back after it rains.
I don't have that problem, mine doesn't just leak....maybe right after I've used it, but not everytime I get on the accelerator.
it comes from the washer squirter
dude i have that exact problem, my car takes a piss every time i stomp on it:rolleyes:
another thing I hate is..just when you think everything is dry and dandy after the car wash and when you start moving there's water coming out under the spoiler and behind the licens plate and seeping out throught the rear hatch onto the rear bumper..dammit!!
Mine doesn't do this, but it seems like enough of them do that it's relatively normal.
how hard do you accelerate? even when i race mine still doesn't do that.. maybe you hvae a leek

As far as water seeping out.. I'm sure we all take extra care washing the car, spend 5 more minutes to dry it properly. Dry under the hatch spoiler, then open the hatch and dry the water that sits on the back bumper. Dry the sills all the way around the hatch. Yeah, it take 5-10 minutes extra to dry all of the sills, nooks, and crannys, but you save that from having to use quick detailer to remove the water spots later. |
