Ghosting Airbag lgt-what's up with this?

Recently, I've noticed the frequent apperance of the Airbag Warning light. I am right around 40K miles (00' LX). The light blinks for about a minute or so and shortly afterwards the battery warning light appears. I took it to the dealer but they said everything checked out ok. Has my electric warning system gone awry. Pls advise???

Y2KLX, Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to our Club. There are TWO BIG fridge'S in the corner with anything you can think of in them...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have.

make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

UNFORTUNATELY....electrical ghosts are the most difficult problem to find....let alone fix......for unless the problem is currently present...the dealer won't be able to find it....and like normal...it will never happen when you are anywhere near the dealer....or when you take it in. Intermittent electrical bugs can drive you nuts.....many a time I have seen people just have to wait it out till it becomes an all out failure before the real problem was able to be diagnosed and repaired.

I havent had any problems with the alternator as of yet. I'll make sure they check it during the Diagnostic evaluation. Thanks for prompt response!!
