fuel in tank
 

well today I took my P5 guage down to the E or on the lower side of E and refilled 13.885 gallons whats the most any one else has put in?? :eek:

i put about 800 miles on my car in the past three days, driving to atlanta and back. on the way down and back, i ran it till it was on E, to try and see what kind of gas milage i was getting. when i stopped a filled up this morning, before i came back, i had put just over 400 miles on the tank of gas, and I managed to force an even 13 gallons into it. when i stopped tonight and filled up, the lcd that shows gallons quit right around 12 gallons, so im not sure, but im thinking it was close to 13 again based on the price spent to price per gallon ratio.

The 1.6 is 13.2 Gallons or 50l and the 1.8&2.0 is 14.5 Gallons or 55l.

I avarage filling 13.6gal and 300mpt street driving when I am on hwy I can get 380mpt (Miles Per Tank)

The tank holds 14.5 gallons so it seems that when the light goes on there is about 1 gallon left about 28 miles?

the very first test I did in my new P-5 was run it till the fuel level warning light came on.....just as luck would have it I was in town and pulled into a station when the light came on....I put in 12.5 gallons....giving me two gallons to spare when the light came on. :D
