Fuel pump

Hi !
At first I want to say hello to everybody. I'm a new guy here...
My question is: is it possible that a fuel pump in FP engine can use-up near 95k km? (its about 56k miles). Im the owner of 1.8 GT (FP engine).
Thanks for all your answers...

Welcome to the forum. I don't know that we have any other members from Poland, you may be the first!
No, your fuel pump should not give out at 56k miles, not that I know of anyway.
Maybe it is not the fuel pump. What are you symptoms (problems)?

have you run out of gas with it? if you run the tank dry you run the risk of damaging the pump since the pump actually uses the gasoline as a coolant for the pumping mechanism.

My car has been modyfied a little, she has modyfied head, custom intake (with KingDragon filter), custom exhaust and SMT6 pluged in.
The problem is that I cant set the proper AFR above 3,5k rpm. I was wondering that it might be the fuel pump problem or fuel filter. Maybee it is my probe meter :) - I have to check everything. There might be another reason: fuel pressure regulator...
Whats your thoughts guys ???
