Fram "Sure Drain"

Sound like a great product, you loose threads each time you unscrew/screw your drain plug.

Frams site doesnt show a part# for 2001, 2002, or 2003. They do have a part# for 2000 Protege. Will this work on a 2002 Protege 5?

If anyone has experience with this product, please post your comments. Thanks.

you need an SD2. it's easy and it works ok but it is really slow.

So you have one? How do you like it? I read a review that said its great, but the valve sits inside of the oil pan. This causes some oil to not come out. Does this pose a big problem?

Here is the review...

i don't think it poses a problem, but i am not super anal about oil changes either. i don't believe that a little oil left in the pan hurts anything.
like i said before it's easy but it is really slow, it probably takes the oil twice as long to drain.
i took the hose off of mine, it makes it a little easier to use IMO.
