engine swap question
have a blown msp and a wrecked one and need to swap the engine. just looking for the easiest way to do it.

youtake the good engine and put it in the msp with the blown engine..

The car is assembled as a whole drive train bolted in with 8? bolts. I would find the eight bolts and jack the car off the drive train... ;)

8+bolts... you forget, motor mounts to frame, and all wireing harness , powerstearin lines to body.. break lines. not just chasis bolts... |
Take it to a shop. Let it be their problem to swap.

i agree.. that sounds like the best bet...

better safe than sorry.

exactly and since its not like some crazy type of engine swap the prices shouldn't be outrageous cuz its basically "plug and play" in a matter of speaking.

Nah, ya' missed the point. Drop the entire front subframe with the engine/transaxle including struts/wheels/etc. Ask a junkyard how they do it! They are the pros!
