Thats an awsome car. I especially like how there isn't a spolier. I'm guessing your going to keep that car for quite some time. So why not just save up for a turbo. Even if it takes you a year. IN a year you'll have an even amazinger car.
I think I just made that word up, but it owuld describe your turboed care perfectly

Lower it.
You have quite a bit of wheel well gap there. Some goldlines should work nice.

Interior perhaps? Your car looks very clean the way it is.

Car looks good. I agree, just keep saving for a turbo. You need one to pull around that 3000lbs of audio equipment in your trunk, lol.

yeah, the back of my car is pretty heavy, i estimate about 150 to 200 lbs of audio equipment.. so my car prolly weights total of 2500lbs... still lighter than a newer protege so..
:bt:

you are in Louisianna? You should come up this way sometime. It's not a bad drive.

Are you interested in performance or more in cosmetic stuff. No sense in saving for a turbo if you don't care about it.

ShogunProtege April-22nd-2005 06:11 PM

i just wanna go when i hit the gas... not wait a sec then go..

Roddimus Prime April-22nd-2005 06:22 PM

Nitrous Oxide....You can get a nice wet kit for about $550 and a fuel pump for about $100....should give you an easy 100whp whenever you want it.

ShogunProtege April-22nd-2005 08:25 PM

i thought nitrous isnt good for our mazdas.. they go boom boom instead of zoom zoom...

Roddimus Prime April-22nd-2005 09:36 PM

you have a 1.6L BP engine. You'll be fine. It's the FS-de's that have problems. Get a good fuel system upgrade and you could EASILY run a 100hp shot.

ShogunProtege April-22nd-2005 11:00 PM

i have the 1.6l zm-de engine.. not the bp

macdaddyslomo April-23rd-2005 07:09 AM

Yah Matty messes that up all the time...In a roudabout way he's right though. The roots of the ZM-DE are the B series 1.6L's

ShogunProtege April-23rd-2005 09:14 AM

huh, weird, i thought the 1.6 in my car was a downsized version of the 1.8

another thing, is i have an auto, so controllng when i get the power will be hard.. i think FI is the only way for me to go..

macdaddy, did thoose cams help any?

macdaddyslomo April-23rd-2005 09:41 AM

somewhat...up above like 5000 rpms it seems to pull harder...never dyno'd but I didnt ever do a baseline anyway so hard to see what kind of gains it gave me. Never trust the butt dyno, it's always biased
