Coil Pack on a 99/00 Pro

Does anyone know where the coil pack is for a the 99/00 Protege is? Does it even have one? I looked in the Hayne's Repair Manual but the manual is for protege's from 90-2000. I think thats like all three Gen's. (except 01-02). So it does give a very descriptive article for my car. The pics i think are from the first gen so i can't go off that either. Please help. Thanks.

On our third gens (don't know about the other gens) we use a distributor-less coil pack system. The coil-packs are located on the #2 and #4 plugs. The little black box lookin things. :]

Well that doesn't look like the universal coil packs in the stores. So where can i get a performance coil? Or is the all the ignition in the ecu? And also i wan't to advance my timing is that in the ECU as well?:dunno:

There's been a small debate about this before on the egroup. The stock ignition systems in the 3rd gen's are supposed to be really good and not in need of any upgrading unless you're running boost. :| As for timing, NFI. Do a search on MSD Ignition on the board here as well.
