Canadian Prices for 2002 and 2003 MP5

I am looking into buying either a 2002/3 MP5 fully loaded and I was wondering if anyone in the North know anything
about the pricing.

When I went to the dealer they said that they could give me about $2000cnd off the price of the car.

Is this a good deal?
Does anyone know the lowest peice that I can go on this?
The cheaper it is the more mods I can do to.

Also, I found out that b/c I own a mazda now I get 1/4% off
financing. It is part of their loyalty program.

Thanks!

i would assume the 2000 off is for the 2002?

Here are the prices I was quoted for P5's in Calgary:

2003: $24,715 (auto, A/C, roof, and block heater) w/o taxes and fees. Subtract $1300 for a 5 speed.

$2000 off on a 2002 is pretty good. I got about that much off my 2002 plus they even threw in a few extra stuff like wheel locks (didn't even ask for them and they put them on :D ) and pin stripes.

Hope this helps.

I bought a loaded laser blue 2003 a month ago... and when it was all said and done I paid about 26000 taxes included...
I managed to get one of the first ones in that colour and I paid the price for it..... if you are willing to take a less popular colour you can talk them down more.

But if you ask me... its worth it for laser blue!!

It seems strange that without a discount the 2003 P5 is
$26400 taxes in (Ontario 15%).

The dealer told me that they would be giving me about $2000
off this. If this is the case I think that I'll get back to them right
away and sign the papers.

Is this a good deal? Hvae others seen this type of dicount?

Thanks.

I paid $26,370 after taxes, for the 2003 laser blue auto & a/c. They also threw in wheel locks (never even asked for them), and 40,000 kms free maintenance-oil changes and all (I asked for this).

I thought it was a good price, which is why I bought it. Then again, it is my very first car, and my first time negotiating with dealers. I had only gone to 3 previous dealers before I bought my car, and that was within a one week period. Yeah yeah, I rushed into purchasing my car, but it was all good - cause I really wanted/needed my car, and I was set on the P5! =). I don't regret a thing!
