Broken Remote for Keyless Entry on my P5

I have an 02 Protege5 and the keyless entry remote broke in half. How I don't know, but I somehow managed to break the two halves apart, and lost the front end. The buttons and batteries part are gone, and all that was left in my pocket was the rear cover with this info:

Model 41706
P/N bl8d 67 5RY
FCC ID: kpu41706
NaldecCorporation

I went to Autozone and they said to go to the dealer. I went on ebay instead and saw them for pretty cheap. I just want to make sure I can use them. I don't have the slightest idea as to how to set up the frequencies, and want to make sure I can.

Thanks.

It should work without a problem. The owner's manual should tell you how to do it, it'll go something like putting the key in the ignition and turning it 7 times, then you'll press the button on the remote twice and turn the key a couple more times. Not exactly sure, but I'm almost positive the owner's manual tells you how to program it.
