Its mostly CRAP and doesnt give any HP !!! Dont even intend to buy it, unless you wanna see that little "check engine" light ;) !!!

Isn't that the same thing your friend had in his Miata?....They even use the same bogus hp and torque chart. There's no chip for a Protege.

Only one way to find out if it works... :) :)

Damn, there seems to be more fake crap than actual mods for the Protege. Oh well, I was planning on a combination of cone filter/catback exhaust, and/or the MP3 chip. I have to find out if any of these would "overlap", so to speak.

Protege Joe, If I had a 1.6, I would probably go for broke and turbo it - I think this has been done by a few people who post here. Peace.
