Anybody know a good wkshop manual?

Hello,

I am new to the forum and am looking for a good repair/workshop manual for my 2001 Protege ES. My local parts store doesn't have anything and I haven't yet found anything online. Is the 2001 still too young to have anything of the Haynes or Chilton variety? Any advice would be welcome. I am looking to do the 30K service myself, the car has only ~27k now but I haven't done anything except oil changes and an air filter change so far, the car has needed no other service in the 3yrs I've owned it :-)

Thanks and Happy New Year!

Welcome to the Forum. IMO, the best workshop manual is the FSM. I bought mine for the '02 Protege from my dealer for US $140. Expensive, but well-worth it.

I found this on eBay. Has anyone had any experience with these? I'm not sure if this is the genuine factory service manual on a CD, some kind of bootleg or something else altogether.
