Any mounts to use for skiis and bikes on the factory rack?

I've been searching and there seems to be no one with Mighty Mounts from Yakima.

I was hoping I wouldn't have to buy new towers since I already own a Yakima rack from my Civic. Anyone know of any alternatives?

The Thule 889s with factory rack kit ("PART #889 - Thule Velo-Vise Bike Rack Pack for Factory Roof Rack") will fit our bars, but the tray may impede the hatch. A number of folks have hacksawed off the excessive portion without too much mess or hassle.

The "Thule Big Mouth Rack Pack" is similar but you don't take off the front wheel (typically a little less stable but still OK).

I bought the rather generic mounts ("PART # 64710") that do not include a full tray. I didn't want a full tray for times I take off my rack. I have yet to put them on, but they should handle all but the longer wheel-base bikes (like large mountain bikes).

P.S. they also have ski and snowboard racks.

I use Mighty-mounts with a Yakima bike rack. They work well enough, but none of the Yakima fork-mounted carriers work with the Mighty mounts. The mighty mounts fit pretty well, but I always take corners slower when the bike's on top just incase.

They should work great for for ski holders though since they sit closer to the roofline.
